Hey Fall! Long time no see?!

Labor Day is a little bit of a weird holiday. It’s a soft winded goodbye to summer, and I’ve never been good at goodbyes but, here in DC, it will still be over 100 degrees for a long while. But honestly, I am so excited for fall. Fall is, without a doubt, my favorite season of all time. The weather get cooler. The vegetables get better (and I can have both butternut squash AND tomatoes! What??) It just smells like cloves and cinnamon all the time. Or at least I like to pretend it does.

Thai Iced Tea

Channeling my role model, I had an “aha” moment this weekend.

Until I really start thinking about it and the scary idea of having Anyways, are you a freak like me and excited about daylight savings time?? You know you’ve reached grandma status when you get excited about losing an hour of sleep or feeling like spring is finally coming even though it’s still below freezing out.

And snowy. Don’t get me started on the snow.

Cinnamon Sesame Ice Cream Sandwiches

I know, this might be very questionable as a recipe.

But please hear me out!  I have no idea whether or not this is the worst best recipe of have ever written on paper, or it’s a total cop out. Mostly because this is the easiest dessert ever and it brings me back to my college years. You know what I’m talking about: when a fancy dinner party included a potato chips and beer course.

We should actually bring that back.
