Seared Breakfast Banana Split with Biscuit Crumble

Aka how I have fully embraced having dessert as breakfast. Or hey, what about breakfast as dessert? With Mother’s Day coming up and everything, I was looking for a recipe that was a) relatively low maintenance, b) reasonably good for you, and c) so decadent she would not be able to tell the difference between this and dessert ! And I think I’ve nailed it.

Because, while this is a banana split, if you squint, it looks like breakfast!

Chocolate Cherry Cola Mug Cake

Any excuse to let them eat cake, right?

And today, I feel like we just all need a slice of chocolate cake. There’s something about it that screams HUG. And we all know how much I love meals that can translate to hugs. Until I really start thinking about it and the scary idea of having Anyways, are you a freak like me and excited about daylight savings time?? You know you’ve reached grandma status when you get excited about losing an hour of sleep or feeling like spring is finally coming even though it’s still below freezing out.

And snowy. Don’t get me started on the snow.

Cinnamon Sesame Ice Cream Sandwiches

But please hear me out!  I have no idea whether or not this is the worst best recipe of have ever written on paper, or it’s a total cop out. Mostly because this is the easiest dessert ever and it brings me back to my college years. You know what I’m talking about: when a fancy dinner party included a potato chips and beer course.
