Canned beans get such a bad rap. I do not know why, but it might be because I have been eating canned beans since… well since forever. As a kid, I refused to eat meat. Like flat out refused. And my mom, bless her, had to figure out a way to get protein into me. The only food doing it for me was… well you guessed it. Beans.

How is it almost the end of summer already? Like how?
I guess because my life has been a series of ups and downs over the past two months, it is almost as if I missed the changing of the seasons. I’ve been to the beach a solid ONE time and have only eaten ice cream once this summer. This is a seriously emergency, people, and it needs to be remedied immediately!

It is that time of year again. Time to hit the books, get back to classes, and wind back up after a long summer. For me, this is the first time I have gone back to school in three years and I am beyond terrified. So, in case anyone is feeling the same way (anyone?)
