It comes as no secret that we love Indian food here.

I have had my fair share of Indian inspired recipes on this blog, mostly because, as the weather gets colder, I just want to be wrapped up in all the warming spices. Ginger, turmeric (it’s pronounced tur-meric, not too-meric), cardamom, and cumin just give me all the warm and fuzzies inside. Y’all these chickpea flour coated green beans will definitely give you something to smile about.

At least I hope!

Italian Chickpea Chopped Salad

Getting ready for salad season a little early with this Italian Chickpea Chopped Salad. Chickpeas marinated in a simple vinaigrette take this salad to a whole other level. Serve alongside your favorite Italian dishes or have it straight up for lunch. Simply bomb.com!

By now I think you all know how I feel about salad. Here is the thing: I despise a boring salad (i.e lettuce and very little else). But I LOVE a GOOD salad (i.e one with greens…carbs and cheese). And if it’s a salad where the dressing is truly the star, then you know I am all about it.

Instant Pot (and not!) Eggplant Caponata

We love a pickled eggplant situation. Yes I promise I’ll get you hooked too!

If there is one thing you should love about me, I love a pickle situation. I used to go to falafel places in Israel just to get some pickles. I always get the pickle situation at my favorite hummus place in the city. Heck I put pickled onions on everything. But if you don’t like eggplant, don’t let the title scare you… because you can barely tase the eggplant in said dish.

I promise.

Indian Green Shakshuka

It’s no secret that I love my Indian spices. And eggs. Actually all of this.

Does anyone else have the problem of the “exploding spice cabinet”? I swear, every time that I open my spice cabinet, the jars of spices tumble out. I’ve always wanted to make magnetic spice rack for the surface of the refrigerator, to try and alleviate said cabinet space. But I am always the kind of person who tries desperately to be crafty and then have it end up with yarn and glitter everywhere. And like everything on Pinterest, it always ends up as a fail.

But there are worse things than extra glitter in our lives.
