I’ve been craving all sorts of Moroccan/Mediterranean flavors lately. And, if it has not been a surprise based on the recipes from my blog, I freaking LOVE Mediterranean flavors. There is just something so fresh when you dust your bowls with half a bunch of parsley.

White Beans and Greens Soup with Yogurt and Herbs

With the first full week of October now tucked behind us, I am in full on fall mode. I bought a succulent nestled in a Mexican sugar skull. I broke out the mulled wine. And now, I’m craving all things warm and cozy, and of course, everything pumpkin spice. It is so bizarre because, if you were to ask me last year, I would have said I was totally over pumpkin spice. But who knows? Our tastes always change.

Yellow Split Pea Soup with Spiced Coconut

We all need a bowl of soup after this week. Who’s with me?!

It is the last Friday of 2017, which, thank goodness 2017 is OVER! And just like that the holidays are over. Hoping each and every one you had an amazing holiday season with your family. And, regardless if you celebrate or not, I hope you had a relaxing day off! 2017 was definitely a rebuilding year for me. I was taking classes, transitioning to a new job in a new city, and learning about this crazy blogging life while balancing my social life.

Thai Curry Red Lentil and Sweet Potato Soup

I know what you’re thinking: really, Sarah, ANOTHER soup recipe?


And to that I say YES! REALLY! Soup is something I wait all year for. It is honestly one of my favorite meals in the winter. Soup and bread and a little green salad is basically all I want on a cold winter night.

Throw in some long johns and I am set. Aren’t I super fun?

Kimchi and Coconut Noodle Soup

My goal: To get you to have your coziest November EVER

Ok, ok, December too… My two favorite months because they have all my favorite foods. I spent Monday playing all the usual head games with myself. I mean, there are just not enough days in the next month and half to make all the recipes I want to make…soo many good recipes – both sweet and savory! I couldn’t choose which ones would be best so I went back and forth, back and forth, UGH.

And then I just settled on eating a butternut squash for dinner (which is never a bad choice!)
